One of the defining moments of this years conference was the announcement that representatives from SAAFI (South African Association of Fractional Intermediaries) and The Timeshare Institute of South Africa (TISA) would be moving forward together with a task team to create a unified regulatory body to govern the entire Vacation Ownership industry here in South Africa and work with international organisations, the key objectives of the unified body would be to ensure that companies currently operating, as well as entering this growing market are doing so with the accredited documentation and ethical promotional procedures.
